Google I/O is an annual software developer-focused conference which features a keynote on the latest updates and announcements by Google. The conference also hosts in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, and App Engine.
Google I/O 2017 was held last May 17-19 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. At its 11th year, Google I/O 2017 gathered more than 7,000 attendees from all over the world. Highlights of the event include the release of Actions on Google, new standalone virtual reality headset, Android Go, Android O, and updates of Firebase, TensorFlow, Google Home and Google Photos.
