Overview
The Cebu Music Creators Growth Summit is a music conference and workshop designed for the Cebuano music creator. Its main objective is to empower the local music creator and inspire them to hone their craft and equip themselves with the necessary knowledge as musicians in the modern world. The conference also provides a diverse range of workshops and talks with practical ideas that can be incorporated in live performances, music production and music promotion.
The one-day development summit aims to bring together like-minded members of the local music community to discuss and look into the possibility of co-creating a music industry that is highly entrenched and deeply connected with Cebu’s unique local culture. It also provides a platform for musicians to come together, collaborate and perform.
The main message is that local music creators—songwriters, singer-songwriters, composers, arrangers, sound engineers and producers are capable of creating their own opportunities. However with that capability and freedom comes the responsibility of ensuring that the end result will be professionally sound, economically sustainable and creatively inspiring.
