G U I D E L I N E S
• This Cosplay competition is open to individuals of 7 years old and above. Participants below 18 years old must submit/ bring their parent’s or guardian’s letter of consent.
• This year's theme is all about Warriors. This will also be included as one of our Criteria. Characters portrayed must come from any published work (books, movies, TV shows, anime, manga, toys, games, etc.). Regardless of where it is from (i.e. Filipino Super Heroes/ Heroine, Japanese Characters, etc.).
Original Characters (OC's) will not be eligible for the competition.
• The use of harmful materials as props is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Dangerous articles such as metallic weaponry (swords, knives, etc.), firearms, flammable materials and pyrotechnics of ANY kind that may cause damage to the venue or harm to fellow cosplayers and/or event staff and attendees are strictly NOT allowed as props for the cosplay competition. Any articles made from any other material such as cardboard, PVC, Styrofoam, etc. are allowed to be used as props for the competition. Any metallic material for costumes/enforced armors are allowed as long as metal parts are properly hidden and cannot cause harm to other people. Squirt guns must have NO LIQUIDS inside. Airsoft guns must have NO LOADED bullets.
• All costumes must undergo checking and verification by the organizers or marshals on or before the competition call time. Props will be labeled accordingly by the organizers or marshalls depending on their safety levels.
• Costume of the character must be consistent with the source material. Fan art based concepts are allowed. Alternate design is allowed as long as it is from the official copyrighter.
• There will be two categories for this event.
Special Category (7-13 yrs. Old)
Themed Category (14 years old and above)
• All competition entries are solo. Only one cosplayer is allowed per entry. Participants with bulky costumes are allowed to have assistants backstage. They, however, may not have human props neither animal props on stage during the ramp.
• Simply deliver a line with an action or pose based on your character. Participants are required to have any background music (BGM) of choice when on stage, just e-mail it to
cosplay.kadaugansamactan@gmail.com with your name/character/series,movies,games, etc. as a subject in the email. (Example: Eusel Park/Chelsea/Akame ga Kill). Also, Music file must NOT exceed 15MB. We will only accept these file types for your music (.mp3, .mp4, .wma)
Note:BGM’s must not exceed 2 mins. During those 2 mins you may do signature moves, a signature pose, or a small dance number. The microphone on the stage will be provided for those who wish to use it.
• We put great emphasis on your portrayed character. Hence, you only need to be in character from the time the program starts, during your ramp till after you have gone off the stage.
• Please be at the event area before the program begins. PUNCTUALITY IS STRICTLY OBSERVED.
• Cross Dressing and Gender Bending is allowed. However, any characters from mature/hentai anime/manga/game when either cross dressing, gender bending or cosplaying is NOT ALLOWED and that we are judging the character and not the person.
• Characters must NOT SHOW PARTIAL or COMPLETE NUDITY.
• THE EVENT ORGANIZERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO BAN THE COSPLAYER FROM JOINING THE COMPETITION SHOULD THEY FAIL TO ADHERE TO THE RULES STATED ABOVE.
• Pre-registration (online) will start on April 4-28, 2017.

• In this competition, voting ticket is called BOOSTER.
• Registered participants will be given 1 raffle ticket & 1 booster
.
• Raffle tickets with Boosters can be acquired when audience buy from our Raffle & Booster Booth located within the event area for
a minimum of Php 50.00 = 1 raffle ticket, 1 Booster;
Php 100.00= 2 raffle tickets, 2 Boosters; and
Php 200 = 4 Raffle tickets, 5 Boosters
• Anyone with the raffle ticket may win Exciting Prizes! More raffle tickets purchased means more chances of winning!
• Raffle and Booster tickets are also available at our merchant partners.
